Listening - Speaking English 1 M1 (Mrs. Ruth L. Neri)

This course develops competences in speaking and listening in various contexts .The course focuses on extending speaking and listening skills to improve confidence and develop basic proficiency in speaking and listening.   The speaking and listening practice will also provide opportunities for language skill development including grammar, sentence structure, vocabulary and pronunciation .

Learning Outcomes: 

After completing this course, students will have improved their comprehension and practical use of English in two skill areas: listening and speaking. By the end of this course, students should be able to:

  • express opinions on abstract/cultural matters in a limited way or offer advice within a known area.
  • communicate with some confidence and comfort in casual social conversations and most daily situations. 
  • participate in formal and informal conversations.
