To practice English language in order to enter the society and foreign cultures by greetings, invitations, thanking, apologies, leave-taking, request, introduce oneself, communicate about themselves in everyday life, environments, careers and other subject. Be able to get the main ideas, details from the passages that they read or write. Offering help to someone in need, giving advice, suggestion, permission, asking favor, opinion, happening, wants, agreeing or disagreeing in the classroom and in the real life situations. Be able to participate in the activities in religion, holidays, the culture and traditions of native speaker countries. Realize the benefits, values of learning English language and use it to seek more knowledge and pleasure.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand visual gestures, voice inflections, sense the feeling of the speaker and understand commands, request, advice and descriptions found in authentic media of the language.
  2. Understand and interpret varied non-textual information from the visual and spoken presentation.
  3. Use the foreign language in appropriate manners, gestures when communicating with different people consistent with the culture of the native speaker.
  4. Know the history behind the traditions, national and religious holidays in the culture of the native speakers.
  5. Develop the basic language skills to improve the learner's global vision.
  6. Use the foreign language to communicate with people, in school, community and society.
